Club Moorings
Thurrock Yacht Club
A place for your boat.
A club to call home.
Discover our moorings on the Thames and enjoy life afloat with a friendly club community.
Moorings are available for full and family members who wish to keep a boat at the club.
We currently have moorings available for boats up to 38 feet.
For cruisers we offer a selection of options including mud berths, individual swinging moorings, and deep water trot moorings.
We can accommodate dinghies in our dinghy park. Most moorings offer 24*7 access for sailing. Tenders can be stored at the head of the slipway during the sailing season
Charges for moorings range up to around £600 per year including winter storage - a full range of charges can be found on our membership fees page.
With the exception of the outer trot mooring, members are responsible for providing and maintaining their own mooring gear. The club workboat "Tango" is available to assist with inspections. Guidelines for moorings can be found by clicking the document below (you will require a pdf reader).

Let’s talk moorings.
Have a question about keeping your boat at the club, or simply want to know more? Send us a general enquiry and we’ll help you find your next step.
We’re a volunteer-led club, so please give us a little time to reply—we may be on the water rather than at the keyboard.
