Become a member

Whether you are a experienced boat owner looking for an affordable base close to London, or a newbie looking to explore an interest in getting afloat, we have a membership option for you. The only things we ask for are an enthusiasm for boating and a commitment to participate. The club is run on an entirely voluntary basis with members doing everything from mooring maintenance to manning the bar.

If you are interested in joining, we strongly recommend that you visit us on a club night (Thursday's from 8pm) or a weekend. One of our existing members will be more than happy to show you around and answer any questions that you may have. Should you decide that TYC is the club for you, please  use the Join link and create a new account or print out and complete the Membership Form. When you apply online the club membership secretary will get in contact to take you through process and answer any questions you may have.

You can hand your completed and signed form in at the club, or scan and send it to secretary@thurrockyachtclub.org.uk.

In line with the rules of the club your membership will normally be accepted on a 6 month probationary basis, subject to payment of subscriptions.
