Our story
Founded in 1946, the club continues a long sailing tradition at Kilvert’s Wharf. Our moorings once served Thames barges and training ships.
Members built and fitted out today’s clubhouse in 1973. Before that, the club called the lightship The Gull home. Her rescued light mast remains at the top of the slipway—a link to the past and a familiar landmark today.
