Monthly Work Party

Our regular organised work parties keep the club in tiddly condition, and doing stuff ourselves helps to keep our fees down. But more than that, these sessions are a great opportunity to get to know your fellow members.

Our first work party for 2022 will be a relatively gentle affair to get back into the swing of things. The weather will be cold but the company will be warm.

Headline tasks for this month:

• Foreshore sweeping and tidying
• Boat park "gardening"
• Prepare for the Transferring dinghy gear from Stubbers into containers.
• Manning the tea urn.

Other tasks and asks:

• If anyone can bring power tools to cut back some orf the undergrowth in the boat park it would be appreciated
• Likewise if someone can provide a power washer we can have a bash at the slipway
• The club house will need laying out for Burns Night

Other tasks may be added at the discretion of the "gaffer of the day"!

As usual please provide you own gloves and PPE. We are still under "Plan B" restrictions so don't forget your face covering for any time you are spending indoors (hopefully we will get some good news on Monday removing this legal requirement). And don't forget to wrap up warm!
